1. Introduction

These Terms & Conditions govern your use of the Oscar Landscaping & Building website and the services we provide. By using our website or engaging our services, you agree to be bound by these terms. Please read them carefully before proceeding.

2. Our Services

Oscar Landscaping & Building provides landscaping, groundworks, garden rooms, roofing, drainage, and property maintenance services across Hampshire, Berkshire, and Surrey. All services are subject to a written or verbal agreement confirmed between both parties prior to work commencing.

3. Quotes and Pricing

All quotes provided are valid for 30 days from the date of issue unless otherwise stated. Quotes are based on information provided at the time of consultation. Additional costs may arise if unforeseen site conditions are discovered during the course of works. We will notify you of any changes before proceeding.

4. Payment Terms

A deposit may be required before works commence, as agreed at the time of booking
Interim payments may be required for larger projects at agreed milestones
Final payment is due upon completion of works
We reserve the right to charge interest on overdue invoices in accordance with the Late Payment of Commercial Debts Act 1998

5. Cancellations

If you wish to cancel or postpone a scheduled job, please give us at least 48 hours' notice. Cancellations made with less notice may result in a charge to cover preparation costs already incurred. Any deposits paid may be non-refundable depending on the circumstances.

6. Our Liability

Oscar Landscaping & Building holds full public liability insurance. We take all reasonable care to carry out works to a high standard. However, we are not liable for:

Pre-existing damage or defects not caused by our work
Damage caused by third parties after we have left the site
Losses arising from delays caused by factors outside our control (weather, supply chain, etc.)

7. Workmanship Guarantee

We stand behind the quality of our work. If you are not satisfied with any aspect of the completed works, please contact us within 14 days and we will assess and, where appropriate, remedy the issue at no additional cost.

8. Your Responsibilities

As the client, you are responsible for:

Providing accurate information about the site and any relevant restrictions
Ensuring safe and reasonable access to the property
Obtaining any necessary permissions or planning consents where required
Securing or removing personal belongings from the work area

9. Intellectual Property

All content on this website — including text, images, logos, and design — is the property of Oscar Landscaping & Building and may not be reproduced without our written permission.

10. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
